Willy Satay- Kajang

I have not added Malaysian signature dish until now …SATAY. Satay is grilled or barbecued meat on bamboo skewers. Until recently I have not came across satay that is worth mentioning. This is the ‘Satay’ I have been waiting to put in our blog.

The stall is located at Ramal Junction Food Court and easily accessible by highway from mostly anywhere in the Klang Valley, Willy Satay has been in business for around five years. There are four types of satay available here: chicken, beef, lamb and cow’s intestine. During peak dinner time be prepared to wait at least one hour…so come early as we did.

It’s well marinated, tastes very delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed the tenderness of the sweet and savory meat that had a pleasantly strong lemongrass flavour. The marinade didn’t mask the flavour of the chicken, beef or lamb. It was a lovely balance. The peanut sauce was really good….it complemented the satay perfectly.

SATAY LOVERS…THIS IS DEFINITELY A MUST-TRY.
