Rahmat Coffee House – Bintulu

Bintulu is definitely not the place food lovers go for gourmet food. Surprisingly, we stumbled upon a nice eatery recently in Bintulu…courtesy of the hotel’s owner recommendation. Rahmat Coffee House is situated at the edge of Jalan Tun Ahmad Zaidi in Bintulu.

This eatery outlet specialises in Thai style cuisines.Thai cooking places emphasis on lightly prepared dishes with strong aromatic components and a spicy edge. It is known for its complex interplay of at least three and up to four or five fundamental taste senses in each dish or the overall meal: sour, sweet, salty, bitter, and spicy.

The Fried Pomfret Thai Sauce dish deserved the best in the world in its category…it has the perfect mix of sour, sweet, salty, bitter and spicy. The Prawn Thai Sauce dish is also a must-try dish. The white tea also deserved a 5 star….perfectly blended for after-dinner beverage. It was a nice culinary experience in a town more well known for its oil and gas industry.
