Nasi Lemak is the national dish of Malaysia. It’s eaten any time….especially for breakfast. The rice is cooked with coconut milk, sometime with pandan leaves. Nasi Lemak is usually served with everything from chicken to beef to cuttlefish and boiled or fried egg, roasted peanuts and a few slices of cucumber…however the anchovies and sambal is what makes the Nasi Lemak. It is best served on a banana leaf.
This particular eatery stall in the Fraser Hill Food Court specialised in Nasi Lemak. The sambal is a spicy sweet reddish thick paste…really tasty.
For Nasi Lemak lovers this outlet is a must-try.
