BEAUTIFUL STONE ROCK BACKGROUND
The landforms on each course are the result of 300 million years of geological formation. Over this period the Stone Forest area changed from sea to land and from lowland to plateau as a result of earth movement. The initial carbonate rock that formed in the inland sea was gradually shaped into its current ‘stone forest’ presence.
ANOTHER SCENIC ROCK BACKGROUND
Numerous stone forest clusters that formed in different geological periods coexist in the varied topography, each with particular features. There are pinnacle-shaped, column-shaped, mushroom-shaped, and pagoda-shaped groups and even some representing people and animals.
